Metallica Leaves 2016 With 5 Albums In the Hard Rock Year End Sales Chart



Metallica leaves 2016 with not one but 5 of there albums in the year end Hard rock-Metal sales charts. At the top of the list is there newest record Hardwired… to Self-Destruct  released earlier this year and has officially gone gold.

In an era in rock music where bands barley move 100,000 in sales, the band scores six albums over the milestone. The black album moved 260k, Master of puppets 160k, …And Justice For All 155k, and Ride The lightning moves 153k.

Rounding out the remainder of the list includes Avenged Sevenfold's The Stage  moving 144k, and Pierce The Veil's Misadventures sold 105k, and A Day To Remember moved 102k of Bad Vibrations .



This is pretty impressive for the Pop-Hardcore band Pierce The Veil. They continue sell more with each release without compromising there high energy fierce sound. Earlier this year the band debuted at #4 on the billboard 200 moving 50k in there first week.

With A big  amount of high profile releases set for this year. 2017 looks to continue the onslaught of monster selling rock records. For now check out the top 24 highest Selling Metal and Hard Rock albums of 2016 below:
